Did USC get a wake-up call in last week's scare against Western Michigan, or was their lackluster performance really who they are? Let's not forget WMU went 13-1 last season, but the thing that stands out most is USC failing to stop WMU's running game and the way WMU dominated time of possession. Also, Heisman favorite Sam Darnold didn't throw a TD pass and had two picks. Stanford can do everything WMU did, but even better. They've won and covered the past three meetings with USC.
