What is Edmonton like without Connor McDavid? We find out Thursday for at least the next 2-3 weeks. The Oilers are 20-26-10 all-time (1-4-1 last season) without the NHL's best offensive player since he entered the league as the No. 1 overall pick in 2015. McDavid's 1.51 career points per game average is behind only Wayne Gretzky (1.92) and Mario Lemieux (1.88) in NHL history. I'm a little surprised this number is so low, although Nashville has disappointed so far. But I'll be fading the Oilers a lot while McDavid is out and potentially playing Unders as well.
