Filip Gustavsson had one of his worst starts of the season against the Avs, where he gave up five goals. While Alexandar Georgiev has been solid, I don't see him having any sort of spectacular performance against the Wild tonight. Six of the last nine Avs games have had at least six goals, as have eight of the last 10 Wild games. FYI, I'm mainly playing this since our first two plays of the night were duds, but at plus money, I'd lean the over here.
Naturally, it was the NHL that kept me from a 6-0 Tuesday here at the site as Winnipeg laid an egg in San Jose for the one loss on the ticket late. Ah well. I'm used to being hockey disappointed. Minnesota is very good, but we have to take the Avs at this short number at home. They have scored a power-play goal in 12 straight games. The Wild remain without leading scorer Kirill Kaprizov, and a few other guys are iffy. This is where books irk me because they just aren't giving us any value on a Wild puckline at nearly -200.
This is a big revenge game for the road team. Colorado defeated the Wild in Minnesota 3-2 on Feb. 15, despite getting out-shot 43-19. I like the underdog in this spot.
