The Caps started this season on a roll at 14-4-5 and they have lost just 1 home game in regulation at 7-1-3. The Hawks have played much better lately but they still struggle on the road at 2-7-1. The Caps are very familiar with Marc Andre Fleury from his time with the Penguins and playing him in the Stanley Cup with the Knights, so they know how to beat him. This is also one of those weird Western vs. Eastern Conference matchups that the Caps have just dominated. The Caps haven’t lost a home game to the Blackhawks since 2006, 8-0 in that span with just 2 of the games within 1 goal. They have also won 9 of the last 12 meetings overall. If you can take the Caps to win in regulation to lose some of the juice, I would suggest that play but since I can’t do that here, I will lay the juice on the Caps.
