The Panthers are playing well right now and just took three points in Tampa before heading home for this matchup. The Panthers are 5-1 against the Blue Jackets right now including 2-0 at home with two 4-1 wins. The Blue Jackets are 7-14-2 on the road and they have lost five straight games while the Panthers are 14-4-3 at home and 6-3-1 in their last 10 games. The only thing I would be worried about is the Panthers first game home after a long road trip, but they should beat the Blue Jackets at home.

I'm a bit surprised this number isn't bigger as the Blue Jackets have essentially quit on the season, losing five straight and 12 of 14 and with several top players having already been traded or on the injured list. Florida, meanwhile, is playing for a division title and is an excellent 14-4-3 at home. Florida has at least 30 shots on goal in all six games this year against the Blue Jackets, and the Panthers won five of them.
