Minnesota 6 @ Colorado 2 | 02/25 | 2:00 AM UTC
ANALYSIS: The Avalanche probably are thrilled to be done facing Vegas, arguably the best all-around team in the league when fully healthy. Colorado played the Golden Knights each of the past four games, and Wednesday will be the Avs' first game against anyone else since a 2-1 home win over Minnesota on Feb. 2 (COVID break in there). These teams also split two meetings in the Twin Cities earlier. While Wild netminder Kaapo Kahkonen has won his past three starts and allowed just four goals in them, they were against two offenses not close to Colorado's. On the flip side, Avs goaltender Philipp Grubauer has a 9-4-0 record this season, including two shutouts, with a 1.78 GAA and .932 save percentage. He is 2-0 with a 1.00 GAA vs. Minnesota.
