Minnesota -170
WIN
ANALYSIS: It's the home opener for the Wild, who are always incredibly tough to beat on their ice in Saint Paul -- 19-11-5 record there last season. I've never played professional hockey, but I'd imagine it's an advantage when a team plays one of its former goalies as it would know his weak spots from practices. The Wild face their former netminder Friday in the Sharks' Devan Dubnyk. He was terrific from 2014-19 with Minnesota but then slipped big time last season and was traded in the offseason. Dubnyk has a 4.23 GAA and .857 save percentage in two outings for San Jose, which is 2-7 in its past nine as a road dog.
