Packers 2021 NFL odds reposted (10 regular season wins) as Aaron Rodgers reports to training camp

Green Bay Packers veterans reported to training camp on Tuesday and Aaron Rodgers was there.

SportsLine oddsmakers all offseason solidly favored Aaron Rodgers to be the Green Bay Packers' starting quarterback Week 1 of this season, and the three-time NFL MVP and future Hall of Famer will be barring injury. Rodgers did report to training camp Tuesday with other Packers veterans, and because of that the various sportsbooks have reposted all Green Bay futures odds that had been off the board. The Pack are set at Over/Under 10 wins in the new 17-game season and are -150 favorites at William Hill Sportsbook to win the NFC North for a third straight year.

There was plenty of movement at William Hill when Monday's news broke that Rodgers and the team had come to an agreement that would see him play this season but have a clear way out via trade after the 2021 campaign. Rodgers will be the first quarterback to play 17 seasons for the Packers – both Bart Starr and Brett Favre played 16.

The Packers had been as high as +2000 to win Super Bowl 56 over the weekend when there were rumors that Rodgers would retire but are now down to +1500. Their odds to win the NFC dropped from +900 to +650 (fourth-best) and to win the NFC North from +140 to -150.

Over 10 wins is a slight -120 favorite for the Packers. That does seem a bit low considering the team has won 13 games each of the past two seasons and there's now a 17th game. Wouldn't surprise me if heavy action starts flowing on the Over to where it reaches 10.5 almost immediately. William Hill does offer an alternate win total of 11.5, with the Under a -230 favorite. To make the playoffs, the Pack are -225 and +175 to miss.

That any NFC North team wins the Super Bowl is +550, behind the AFC West (+300), NFC West (+425) and NFC South (+475), tied with the AFC North (+550) and ahead of the AFC East (+600).

Rodgers is a +1000 second-favorite with Buffalo's Josh Allen to win his fourth NFL MVP Award and +1200 to lead the NFL in passing yards for the first time. Rodgers' individual passing yardage and TD totals haven't been posted yet. No Packers player totals had been because all were so closely tied to whether Rodgers was playing. They should be out soon.

Green Bay's first preseason game is Aug. 14 vs. Houston, although surely Rodgers won't play in that game if any that don't count.
