NFL Week 10 Bills vs. Browns: Bettors all over Buffalo as underdog in Cleveland

The Bills are 6-2 and the Browns are 2-6, yet Cleveland is favored between the two on Sunday.

Someone new to betting on the NFL probably would be baffled by the spread Sunday between the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns. At 6-2, the Bills are tied for the second-best record in the AFC and they are 3-0 on the road. Cleveland is 2-6, ahead of only woeful Cincinnati in the AFC North, has lost four straight games overall and is 0-3 at home. Yet the Browns are -3 on the NFL odds for this 1 p.m. ET kickoff on CBS from FirstEnergy Stadium.

Apparently, NFL bettors at DraftKings don't get it much, either. As of this writing, the Bills are taking the largest spread lead of any team in Week 10. Buffalo is getting 90 percent of the handle on the spread and taking 89 percent of all bets at -3. Don't look for that number to get above -3, however.

Another home favorite that isn't getting much love on NFL picks is the disappointing Chicago Bears. They are last in the NFC North and also on a four-game losing streak but -2.5 against the visiting Detroit Lions in the first meeting of the season between division rivals. About 80 percent of the spread handle is on Detroit and around 82 percent of all spread bets. Detroit has covered just of the past six meetings on NFL picks.

The Minnesota Vikings visit the Dallas Cowboys in the Sunday night game and a potential playoff preview. The Cowboys are on a short week after winning at the Giants on Monday but are 3-point favorites. Bettors are leaning toward the Vikings on 80 percent of the spread handle and 76 percent of all spread bets.

The most even game on the board is Arizona at Tampa Bay with the teams nearly splitting the total spread handle and amount of spread bets at DraftKings.
