However, Houston is averaging 22.3 ppg with Tyrod Taylor at QB compared to 10.2 with Davis Mills, while the Jets, amazingly, are averaging the most yards per game in the NFL since Week 8. It's not often you would say a team that has lost Joe Flacco and is getting its No. 2 overall rookie pick back at quarterback is downgrading, but that's probably the case with the Jets and Zach Wilson with how he looked for the most part early on. Top NYJ running back Michael Carter is out. Houston is last in the NFL in scoring. The Jets are 28th. How is this total at 44.5? That half point may matter if it ends 24-20, so we'll take it now just in case.

The Texans are coming off a rare win where their defense racked up five takeaways against the Titans. But that doesn't mean this team is good; the offense averaged 3.1 yards per play while totaling only 190 yards, and three of its five scoring drives amassed a total of one yard combined. That's not going to happen most weeks. The Jets have a budding star in Elijah Moore, and whoever is at QB should be able to get him the ball against a normally poor Houston defense. Jump on this while you can catch three points (I'm laying -120) against one of the worst teams in the league, because their opponent doesn't really matter in that situation.

Zach Wilson might be back for the Jets, though I'd prefer the team stick with Joe Flacco. Either way, Houston should not be laying a field goal to anyone. The Texans gained a measly 190 yards in their upset of Tennessee; they benefitted from a plus-5 turnover margin. Take the points in this battle of futility.
