New England has looked awful at times this season, but Brady is still a top tier QB and this game is still going to be played at Gillette Stadium. Meanwhile, the Dolphins have been awesome to start the season. I'm expecting the Dolphins to come back to earth a little in a spot where this team has typically struggled. Rex Burkhead is out, but the Patriots have Sony Michel who is more than capable of handling all three downs if needed. I'm expecting Josh Gordon to be active for the Patriots and that is enough to go from a lean to a play on the Patriots at -6.5
The last five times the Dolphins have played at New England, they've lost by an average of 19 points. And you have to go back 100 years to find Tom Brady losing three in a row. Miami has beaten three lousy teams and might be the worst 3-0 team in NFL history.
The Patriots fell badly against the Lions, losing by 16 in a game they were favored by 6.5. The Dolphins are 3-0 behind Ryan Tannehill and playing with a lot of confidence. But expect an embarrassed New England squad to bounce back in a big way after consecutive losses in its first divisional game. My projections indicate a big game from Brady as the Pats cover nearly 60 percent of the time.
