The Eagles appear to be playing their starters for at least part of the game, and that means we have a great opportunity to cash on a derivative. At home against a Dallas team missing Tyron Smith, the Eagles should be able to enter halftime with a lead, or at worst tied, before the starters give way to the backups. Because the full-game line has the Eagles as 'dogs, that gives us to take them as 'dogs in the first half despite the difference in who's on the field. I'm going to jump on that.

The Eagles' offense can still put strain on an opposing defense. The Cowboys' offense doesn’t threaten teams like it did last season. What has been the most consistent unit for these two teams has been the Eagles' defense. That’ll be enough to get the win.

The Eagles have nothing to play for. Starters will be rested, perhaps for much of the game. Jason Garrett needs a win or else Jerry Jones might reconsider the vote of confidence he gave the beleaguered coach this week. Back Dallas in this meaningless game.

The Eagles likely won't play their starters the whole game, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to hop on the Cowboys. The Eagles need to go into the playoffs on a positive note after the offense fell flat on Christmas, and the defense has largely shined at home, where the team is 7-0 this year. The Cowboys just lost a must-win game at home against the Seahawks and figure to be deflated for this matchup after entering the season with Super Bowl aspirations. I think Philadelphia has a great shot of winning this game.
