It's a huge number, but the Bears haven't been nearly as feisty on the road this season. No team is playing better than the Saints, with an explosive offense and an improving D. Lay it.
The Bears have won back-to-back games without asking Mitchell Trubisky to do much, but that's not going to fly in the Superdome against the Saints. The Saints offense ranks in the top 10 in both passing and rushing metrics, and they should be able to move the ball against a Bears defense that's struggled on the road when asked to stop competent offenses (Bucs in Week 2, Packers in Week 4). Even if Trubisky was playing better, I wouldn't trust him to lead a late TD drive for a backdoor cover against an improved Saints defense that ranks sixth against the pass in DVOA.
I don't get this total. The Bears offense is putrid and can't be counted on to carry their weight in making this number. The offense managed just five first downs against the Panthers at home, and now they face a Saints defense that's finally found a groove. The Saints can put up points, but the Bears have enough of a defense to keep a little bit of a lid on the New Orleans offense. Even if the Saints win going away, the Bears won't find enough offense to put this one Over.
You have to love the Bears defense and what they bring to the table from a pressure standpoint. What you don’t love is that John Fox is putting the handcuffs on a rookie QB and stunting his growth. Because of that, coupled with the fact that the Saints defense is playing well, Drew Brees will have enough chances to put up plenty of points to cover.
