It's hard to think of a worse offensive player through four weeks than Kenny Britt. Fortunately for the Browns, he's unavailable Sunday, so he can't hurt them. On the plus side, No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett makes his season debut. I'm also looking for a big game from Isaiah Crowell against a Jets team giving up 4.7 yards per carry. The Browns have to win sometime; this is their week.
The Jets took advantage of two extended travel teams for consecutive wins. Their newfound running game will carry an effective game plan and performance on the road against the Browns.
By this point, I should know better than to back the Browns regardless of the matchup, but here's why I like them in this spot. The look ahead line for this game had the Browns favored by four points, and there's absolutely no reason to upgrade the Jets that much for beating a Jags team coming off London travel that played sloppily and still almost won in New York. Cleveland's strength has been run defense, and they'll be getting key members of the pass rush back from injury this week, starting with No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett. Fade the Jets on the road and not have to lay any points? Count me in.
Don't look now, but the Jets have won two straight and no longer seem like contenders for next year's No. 1 overall draft pick. They're beating Cleveland in 62 percent of my simulations. I'm playing New York on the money line at -105.
