My simulations don't agree with the market moving toward the Rams on the road. Look for a big game from Ezekiel Elliott and Dez Bryant as the Cowboys cover easily at home.
There is no doubt that Dallas has played a tough schedule to start the season. The same cannot be said for the Rams. LA’s two wins have come against Indianapolis and San Francisco, which are a combined 1-5. Washington’s strong showing on the road in LA only makes Dallas more attractive to the public. Returning home for the first time since Week 1, oddsmakers have baited this line a tad. Grab the Rams here to have an impactful game plan on both sides of the football to gain the cover.
I believe Dallas will step up and take care of business at home against and up-and-comer with a price that has dropped from -8.5. The Dallas win at Arizona Monday night erased some of the questions marks that arose when the Cowboys got manhandled at Denver. Cowboys get the double-digit win.
This line was way off when it opened at DAL -9, and bettors pounced on it. Even at less than a TD, I'm still playing it. The Rams offense has been humming along, averaging a league-best 9.9 yards per attempt as Jared Gof has complete 70 percent of his passes through three games. The Cowboys simply don’t have the defense to slow down a balanced offense like Sean McVay’s. On the flip side, Wade Phillips will have this defense ready to attack in passing situations. Even if the Cowboys are up by 10 late, the Rams have huge garbage TD potential in this matchup.
