I made this total 57 and really thought there was no way I would have an Over play. But I really like the Lions’ talent this year and think they are a playoff team. If they are to win on Sunday versus the Falcons, I feel they will need to keep pace with the Falcons’ offense.

There are a lot of road favorites this week, and anyone betting heavily on them is going to be sorely disappointed. But here's one where it makes sense. The Lions have a short week after an emotional win against a Giants team that is playing poorly, and they're in for a massive step up in play against the Falcons. The Atlanta offense should fly on the Ford Field turf, and while Atlanta is missing a key defender in Vic Beasley, the Lions have their own injury issues on that side of the ball with Jarrad Davis and Tavon Wilson out, and Ziggy Ansah questionable.
