It's obvious this is Cleveland's last real shot for a win -- the Browns play at Pittsburgh in Week 17 -- but urgency hasn't really mattered. Cleveland hasn't been able to run the ball since losing its starting guards, and RG3 has not passed for 200 yards in any of his three starts. The Chargers aren't as bad as their 5-9 record, and they're desperate to end a three-game skid. Look for them to take out some frustration Saturday and cover.
The Chargers aren't playing well right now, losing three straight and failing to cover in any of those games. But they're still miles ahead of the Browns, who have paid the public handsomely for fading them week in and week out. Cleveland is a crazy 2-12 ATS this year and hasn't covered since October 16 (a two-point loss to the TItans). Robert Griffin III played better against the Bills last week, but that's largely because he couldn't have played worse than his Week 14 return. He'll be looking over his shoulder waiting for Hue Jackson to turn back to Cody Kessler, and it'll affect his play. Live bettors should consider taking the Browns if RG3 is benched in-game.
