Despite their heartbreaking loss in Miami last week, the Cardinals typically finish strong. They're 12-4 ATS in their last 16 December games. My projections show them covering a field goal vs. the Saints 60 percent of the time. Back Arizona.

The Saints have lost four of their last five, but have covered the number in seven of their last eight. It's hard to believe that the Cardinals’ rating has dropped to the depths of New Orleans, but that is the reality. Every time I think I'm done with the Cardinals this season, I keep getting sucked in, as though last year’s team will someday show up. I'll be happy by just taking the Over in this one.

The Cardinals have been up and down this season on both sides of the ball. QB Carson Palmer is playing shell-shocked. Defensively, they are still a formidable group, but I’ll take the Saints' vertical passing game. I especially like the Saints' pass rush to do some damage.
