This game is a toss-up in my mind, which is why I'm grabbing the points. The Bills' terrific secondary should pose problems for Baltimore's uninspiring passing attack. I can see Tyrod Taylor having a huge game against his former team.
Rex Ryan may have not had a stellar Year 1 with the Bills but there were positive signs. Instead of envisioning a pairing with his brother hurting the team, I see this defense improving. Three years ago against the Bills, Baltimore's Joe Flacco threw five interceptions in one of the worst starts of his career. This is an older Ravens team, lacking stability defensively. Bills QB Tyrod Taylor should be able to exploit his former team and get at least the cover.
The Ravens faced a difficult schedule in the first half of last year, and by the time they got through it, they didn't have many starters left standing. Football Outsiders credited them with 70.1 Adjusted Games Lost on offense, which is more than they had in their previous three seasons combined. On defense, they had to make do without Terrell Suggs virtually all year. This year, it's the Bills who have been bitten by the injury bug. Vegas will adjust to Baltimore's true talent level eventually, but for now we're getting them at a value.
