Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Mike McClure, Zack Cimini and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. They reveal their prime bets for the NBA, NHL and college basketball slates on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
The Coach drops the NHL Pick of the Day, telling you to go to the pay window with the Devils -130 over the Sabres at 7 p.m. ET.
Coming off a perfect day, Mike opens his NBA analysis by breaking down while he likes the Magic -3.5 over the Pistons at 7 p.m. ET. He does not believe Dennis Smith Jr. is ready to step up for Detroit. He is also on the Celtics -1 over the Mavericks at 7:30 p.m. ET. "Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber are both questionable. This Dallas team is on the second night of a back to back. I like the way the Celtics are going to be able to play with both Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum active. Kemba Walker is healthy and ready to play." Mike finishes with a Warriors flourish, taking Golden State -1.5 over New York.
Zack is going with Bowling Green -7.5 over Eastern Michigan at 7 p.m. ET, noting that the Falcons are "rounding into form." His favorite NBA prop is Saddiq Bey over 17.5 points and rebounds, indicating that the Pistons rookie may be motivated by being overlooked.
Larry then dials in on college hoops, taking Georgia State -6.5 in a "revenge" matchup over Appalachian State at 5 p.m. ET. Much to the approval of the Coach, "The Maestro" is rolling with Baylor -23 over Iowa State at 6 p.m. ET.
