Jonathan Coachman is joined by featured sports betting experts Mike McClure, Rick Gehman and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. They reveal their favorite bets for the PGA Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational (tees off early Thursday in Orlando), NBA, college basketball and the NHL for Wednesday, March 3.

Mike provides his daily NBA injury rundown, pointing out how thin the Pistons and Raptors may be, and he also focuses on the Pacers, Magic and the Lakers, who will have to deal with the absence of LeBron James on Wednesday. Rick issues a detailed initial scouting report for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, revealing what may be the two most important statistics to consider. Then, we find out Larry's take on SIUE in the OVC Tournament vs. Belmont at 8 p.m. ET. Is he back on the Cougars?

The Coach skates in with his SportsLine Play of the Day, taking the Oilers -105 over the Maple Leafs at 8 p.m. ET.

Mike moves to the NBA, opening with the Hornets -2 over the Timberwolves at 8 p.m. ET, because Minnesota plays at a high pace that will benefit Charlotte. He is also on the Thunder +6.5 over the Mavericks at 8:30 p.m. ET, going in-depth on how the status of Luka Doncic affects his selection. At the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Mike is taking Cameron Davis at +300 to finish in the Top 20.

Rick takes center stage with a comprehensive breakdown of his Arnold Palmer Invitational selections. He leads off with Jason Kokrak -120 over Tommy Fleetwood. "Kokrak is coming off a Top 10 from the WGC last week, but this is pretty much a fade of Tommy Fleetwood," he says. "If you look at his ball striking metrics on the PGA Tour this is significantly the worst season of his career." As a ball striker, Rick says Fleetwood "can't get it going this year. That's a very difficult thing to be able to turn around." Rick is also going with Cameron Tringale-125 over Talor Gooch, and Sungjae Im +2200 to win as Im is always dominant on the Florida Swing.

Larry zooms in on college basketball action, tabbing Utah -4 over Oregon State at 7 p.m. ET, because Mikael Jantunen will be a big difference-maker. Maryland is "on fire" and one of Larry's prime plays at -4 over Northwestern at 9 p.m. ET. He goes back to Chicago's Coby White as his featured NBA prop play, at Over 4.5 rebounds in Bulls-Pelicans at 8 p.m. ET. The Coach agrees, and reminds us why it's good to go back to the White play again.
