Big news in the NBA on Friday afternoon as Los Angeles Clippers All-Stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have been cleared from the league's COVID protocols and will play tonight at the Orlando Magic – although it's possible their minutes will be slightly limited. The Magic had been 4-point favorites on the William Hill Sportsbook NBA odds, but the Clippers are now 5-point favorites.

Los Angeles was 1-1 straight up and against the spread this week without Leonard, George and starting point guard Patrick Beverley, who remains out due to injury. The Clippers lost by nine in Atlanta on Tuesday and then won 109-105 on Thursday in Miami, which was quite short-handed itself. Los Angeles rallied from 18 points down. It was the franchise's biggest comeback win since rallying from 31 down to beat Golden State in a playoff game on April 15, 2019.

George (23.9 ppg) and Leonard (25.9 ppg) are the fourth-highest scoring duo in the NBA this season -- and two of the best defenders at their positions. The Clippers have won 13 straight games vs. the Magic, which is tied for the second-longest win streak against a single opponent in franchise history. L.A. has covered the spread in the past four.

Orlando has essentially fallen off a cliff since starting point guard Markelle Fultz suffered a season-ending injury on Jan. 6 in a win over Cleveland. The Magic were 6-2 at that point and are 2-9 since.

No other key Magic guys who weren't already hurt/out for the season are on the team's injury report for Friday. When the Magic score at least 100 points this season, they are 7-4 SU. Alas, they rank third-worst in the league in scoring.
