The Raptors have just traded the player who takes the most shots, that leaves us with opportunities for the remaining players. Barnes is now the Alpha. Take this

The Raptors lost a lot more than just scoring when they traded away Pascal Siakam. Siakam was also one of their better passers, averaging 4.9 assists per game. With him no longer in town, Immanuel Quickley should be asked to facilitate more for his teammates. He did just that Wednesday, dishing out nine assists against the Heat. Since Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic returned to the starting five, the Bulls have given up an average of 121.0 points over their last four games. That sets up Quickley in a favorable position to reach this over.

There is plenty touches to go around without Pascal Siakam. Around 60% of Siakam's touches are now "free" with Bruce Brown not acting as a heavy usage guard. Barrett has hit this over in 5 of his last 6 games as the established number one scoring option. Chicago is allowing 35% 3-point percentage on the road.

After trading Pascal Siakam to the Indiana Pacers, the Raptors have officially handed the proverbial keys to the franchise to Scottie Barnes. Barnes is having an All-Star caliber season but will see a huge bump in usage considering Siakam led the team in scoring and FGA's. I expect Barnes to absorb the majority of those shots, in addition to handling the ball even more than he already was. The Raptors will be shorthanded tonight with Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora, and Kira Lewis set to debut at a later date. The Bulls are a tough matchup tonight as they play slow and are solid defensively but I believe we're getting a fairly chunky discount on Barnes combo line.
