However, the Lakers are better equipped to handle his potential absence now that they have D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt in the fold. With James sidelined Friday against the Warriors, the Lakers won by six points. The Trail Blazers have lost depth by trading away Josh Hart and Gary Payton II, while replacing them with the inconsistent Cam Reddish and the offensive liability that is Matisse Thybulle. Jerami Grant (concussion) could also sit this game out. The Lakers have been revitalized by their trades, so I like them to come out on top here.
