ANALYSIS: The Knicks lost a key depth piece this week with Obi Toppin (knee) expected to be sidelined for at least the next two weeks. However, the Hornets don’t have much quality size up front, so his absence might not be as significant for this matchup. Injuries have really hampered the Hornets, who are just 4-8 at home, and 7-18 overall. They will once again be without LaMelo Ball (ankle), Gordon Hayward (shoulder) and Dennis Smith Jr. (ankle). Look for the Knicks to take advantage and deal the Hornets their fourth straight loss.
