    Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Matt's Analysis:

Been holding out as long as possible on this pick to make sure Joel Embiid is playing; he is supposed to and surely will be ticked off that he didn't win regular-season MVP. Also was waiting to a much lesser extent on Atlanta's D'Andre Hunter. He's expected out again. I find it hard to imagine the Sixers lose back-to-back home games even as well as the Hawks are playing. It was their second unit dominating the Philly second unit that was the big difference in Game 1. Also, Trae Young got off to a huge start with overmatched Danny Green covering him. Expect it to be defensive dynamo Ben Simmons on Young from the get-go here. Maybe the Sixers don't cover, but they'll win SU.
