Washington is the No. 1 team in the NBA in pace. The defense is 27th in points per possession allowed. Minnesota is the sixth fastest team in the league in pace in the last 40 days. The Timberwolves look like they are playing faster under new head coach Chris Finch. Their first two games under him were paced very high. Bradley Beal has averaged 32.6 points over his last seven games and Russell Westbrook is a triple-double machine.

The Wizards enter this matchup playing well, winning six of their last seven. They’ve had impressive wins over the Celtics, Nuggets (twice) and Lakers, along the way. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have been struggling and will now have to play without both D’Angelo Russell (knee) and Malik Beasley (suspension). This could get ugly in a hurry for the Timberwolves.

I wouldn't touch Minnesota for a while now that Most Improved Candidate Malik Beasley has been suspended 12 games. He was averaging 20.5 ppg. Plus, remember, D'Angelo Russell is out injured. I simply don't trust the Wizards to cover the number (-4.5 as of now) so we'll go moneyline.
