The Knicks are getting the early Tom Thibodeau "kick" by playing much better than expected -- especially on defense (which is Thibs' specialty) in allowing only 106.5 points per game. The Raptors clearly miss the departed Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol as they are winless. Also consider that Toronto has no home-court advantage this season as the Raptors are playing their home games in Tampa. Thus, this spread is way too big.

It’s been a rough start for the Raptors, who have lost all three of their games. They are still adjusting to life without Serge Ibaka up front, which may be a part of their early-season struggles. Meanwhile, the Knicks have showed signs of improvement under new coach Tom Thibodeau. That includes Julius Randle posting ridiculous averages of 24.8 points, 10.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists. The Raptors will probably earn their first win here, but with the Knicks playing well and this hefty line, I’ll take the points.
