The series between the Blazers and Nuggets has been a delight each game. Yet the mistake of the Nuggets was the overtime game three matchup in which the Nuggets blew several chances to win. Portland found its legs in Game 6 and should use the veteran roster to hurdle the number ATS. Grab Portland.

The Nuggets will be forced to play a Game 7 for the second straight series. One of the best home teams in the league during the regular season, they’ll be looking to pull out another win to set up a matchup with the Warriors. As tough as the Blazers have played this series, I like the Nuggets to win and cover.

The Trail Blazers' stars showed up big-time as expected in an elimination game at home, but now they're going on the road. You can't expect Portland to shoot 15 of 33 from deep again, or the Nuggets to shoot 38 percent as a team. Lay it as Denver's home dominance comes through.

It's a Game 7 and the Nuggets are at home, where they had the best record in the NBA this season. No reason to stop backing them here as they've covered 10 of the last 13 meetings with Portland. The Nuggets advance and cover.

The Nuggets have certainly made their first two series more difficult than they or their fans would like but the luxury of being the No. 2 seed is that they get the critical Game 7 at home. While I can see the Nuggets rolling as they did at home in Game 5, 124-98, I think the better play in this game is the Over which has happened in their last four meetings and nine of their last 10. Portland will push the pace. Over is the top play.

We head into the final game of this series with the home team going 4-2 both straight up and ATS, and I expect that trend will continue in the finale. The Nuggets have been terrific at home all season, and in the playoffs, going 29-19 ATS overall, and 27-18 ATS as a home favorite. The Blazers, meanwhile, are only 11-18 ATS as a road underdog.
