This looks like a tough spot for the Bucks, who would probably rather be home for Christmas than playing an early game at MSG. But there's bad blood between these teams and I expect the Bucks to go for the blowout. Plus, the Knicks have failed to cover five straight home games. Lay it.
The Bucks lead the NBA by holding opponents to just 43 percent shooting from the floor, but it hasn't translated to covering the spread as might be expected. While having the second-best record (22-10) in the East, and winning their last seven games, the Bucks are just 16-15-1 ATS, meaning when adding juice, bettors are a loser if betting every Bucks game. While the Knicks are an awful 9-25, they've been anything but an easy bet-against at 16-17-1 ATS despite going 0-3 ATS in their last three and losing their last four. Christmas day, in the Garden? Yes, I'm in for a spirted Knicks effort to cover.
