With Joel Embiid back in the lineup, the Sixers are the best team in the East. This young, athletic team will continue to run up and down the court getting a lot of easy looks inside the paint. Plus, now having the defense and rebounding that Embiid brings with his ever-growing offensive game, I have Philadelphia by seven.
The Heat have been completely outplayed in two of three games to start this series and it's clear one team is supremely more talented. Philly looks like the most talented team in the entire East and now they've got their best player back in Joel Embiid. Philly is 18-1 in its last 19 games and has covered the spread in 13 of its last 17. Sixers get another lopsided win and cover.
The Heat had plenty of momentum flying back to Miami after snapping the 76ers' 17-game winning streak and evening the series at 1-1 after thumping Philly on the boards and perimeter. In Game 3, the Heat's physicality was noticeably frustrating the Sixers, who had no answer for Goran Dragic (8-for-13 for 23 points). They also knocked down 16 three-pointers on 33 attempts and shot 35 free throws -- and yet the Heat lost by 20. Masked man Joel Embiid was nothing short of brilliant in his return from a facial injury, scoring 23 and blocking three shots. There's no reason to believe the Sixers won't impose their will again in Game 4 to put this series in a hammerlock. Lay the points.
