Bryce Miller isn't the easiest guy to target for strikeouts; he's streaky with incredible upside at times, while other nights he is very hittable. Tonight, I'm going to take a shot against a Rockies team who is missing some key lower-strikeout starters. Miller has gone for more than four strikeouts just once since returning from the IL in August, but it was an 11 strikeout game against the Angels at home a couple weeks back. Miller has a near 14% swinging strike rate against righties over the last month, somewhat because of that start vs. the Angels righty heavy order, but he gets another high-strikeout, righty-heavy lineup tonight, so let's roll the dice on a 7,8,9 Ks ladder!
