Think you know my stance on 14.5 outs for the most part. We already are on the Under for this one and caught a nice break with the Giants resting All-Star outfielder Heliot Ramos. The rookie Carson Spiers has gone at least five innings in six of his past seven. Our only concern is that this is his second start off the IL but he managed 5 IP in the first.
This is the only 9.5 on our board and may not stay there. Winds apparently won't be a factor in Cincy, which got no-hit earlier this series by a former Cy Young Award winner -- and that's the scenario here with the Giants' Robbie Ray. It's only his third start of the year off Tommy John so a solo no-hitter will not be in the cards, but the Reds hit a fair amount worse against southpaws via OPS and are 15-20 against them. Cincinnati's Carson Spiers has a 3.41 ERA at home this year and 1.20 ERA in 15 innings during the day overall. The Giants haven't seen him.
