Jack Flaherty has been disappointing this season. He's faced the Pirates twice and gave up three ER in each start. Not to mention, Pittsburgh has won three straight games and four of their last five, so we might see a similar result. Johan Oviedo was with St. Louis until August, when he was traded to the Pirates. Assuming Flaherty has another unimpressive outing against the Pirates, I don't see the Cardinals being quick to accept a loss to the lowly Pirates. At least seven runs have been scored in all but one of the 13 games between these two teams this year. It isn't necessarily the best weather for a high scoring game, but I'll take my chances.
