Seattle is 12-3 against Texas this season. The Mariners lost last night, but have Logan Gilbert is making the start today. Gilbert won all three of his starts against the Rangers this season, earning a 1.02 ERA in 17.2 IP. Martin Perez has pitched well against the Mariners this season, but the Rangers still lost both of his starts. As John said below, the Mariners' bullpen puts them in a much better position, making it tough to pass them up on the money line at -125.

I was planning on staying away from the Mariners with Martin Perez pitching the other side, but the Rangers bullpen is in a terrible spot right now. Their top two pitchers each pitched three of the last four nights. Brock Burke also threw 40 pitches last night so I highly doubt he is available today. That leaves Jose Leclerc who threw 36 pitches two days ago and Brett Martin who pitched each of the last two nights. So they really don’t have many options if Perez does have to come out early. Logan Gilbert has really struggled lately which was the main reason I was planning on staying off, so that still concerns me. But if the Mariners can keep it close they should be able to win in the bullpens. The Mariners have everyone available out of their bullpen today.
