Jordan Montgomery pitched extremely well in his Cardinals debut against his old team allowing just two hits in five innings. He will also go up against a Brewers team that is ranked 19th in the league in wOBA against lefties since the All Star break. Eric Lauer has pitched well lately but he was hit hard by the Cardinals last time he faced them and the Cardinals are ranked first in the league in wOBA against lefties since the All Star break. The Cardinals bullpen worries me ranked 27th since the break but the Brewers hasn’t been much better ranked 22nd since the break. The Cardinals are 11-6 since the break and 6-0 at home while the Brewers are 10-7 since the break but 2-4 on the road. The Cards are also 35-20 at home this season while the Brewers are just 31-28 on the road. I like the Cards at home.
