I don't usually pick Sundays but I thought this was value I couldn't pass up (plus something to monitor on way home!). The M's have lost two of three in this series and I've somewhat stayed away from them while stud rookie Julio Rodriguez has been out and he still is, but the lineup is better with the Saturday return of outfielder Mitch Haniger from the injured list. I don't think the starting pitching matchup is all that close between Halos lefty Tucker Davidson (1-2, 6.46 ERA with Atlanta) and Seattle left-hander Marco Gonzales (6-11, 3.95 ERA). The M's have won five of their past seven vs. a southpaw.

Marco Gonzales is coming off a tough start but that was against the best team against lefties the last month in the Yankees. He already pitched a quality start on the road against the Angels. and the Angels are the second worst team in the league in wOBA against lefties. Tucker Davidson is coming over to start after the Raisel Iglesias trade and he could be good someday, but he has struggled this season and he is still young. The Angels are actually 7-4 against Mariners this season but Mariners are 16-9 in the last 30 days while the Angels are 8-16.
