    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Matt's Analysis:

Since June 18, the Astros are 13-2 with a plus-41 run differential. The only two games they lost were on the road to the Yankees (and it could be argued they were fluky comebacks). Only three of those 13 wins were by a single run. Astros starter Cristian Javier is unbelievably locked in right now (14 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 27 K in last two outings) and the Royals are a poor offensive team ready for a lot of zeroes after three straight high-scoring games. Royals starter Brad Keller is adequate, but the Astros' offense will get theirs here. Looks like a blowout.
