Neither team has anything to play for, but obviously Colorado has been very profitable at home overall this year if not so much lately. Rox starter German Marquez is 8-2 with a 3.49 ERA at home. It's the eighth game of a long road trip for the Nationals, so they probably have very little interest at this point. Washington's Josiah Gray has a 6.75 ERA vs. Colorado and this will be his introduction to the thin air of Coors Field. That rarely goes well the first time.

Josiah Gray was good in his last outing but he has never pitched in Coors Field. He also struggled when he faced the Rockies in Washington last week. German Marquez has been good at home this season and so have the Rockies. However, the Rockies have weird reverse splits in September but I think they’re more due than anything. Not to mention, their home games have been against the Giants and Dodgers. The Nats bullpen has been awful and they should play a big part in a game at Coors Field.

My model says the Rockies win in well over 70 percent of the simulations, so you're getting excellent value with them at this number. After winning three of the first four contests on their 10-game road trip, which is their final trek of the season, the Nationals have dropped three in a row. Washington RHP Josiah Gray struggled against Colorado at home last week, allowing five runs on three hits and four walks in 5 1/3 innings. Expect the Rockies to hit him hard at Coors Field.
