The Cardinals are starting a lefty pitcher and that's really all you need to know to back Chicago, which has just two losses since the start of the 2020 season vs. southpaws. That lefty is Kwang Hyun Kim (1-1, 2.73). This will certainly matter a bit more than other outings for White Sox right-hander Lance Lynn (4-1, 1.55) as he spent the first six seasons of his career with St. Louis. The Cardinals lineup struggled badly all weekend against the other Chicago MLB team.

Lance Lynn is 4-1 with a 1.55 ERA this season and since returning from the IL, he is 3-0 with a 2.14 ERA. Kwang-Hyun Kim has struggled this season with his command, which is very uncharacteristic because he is a command-first pitcher.
