    Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Matt's Analysis:

The Padres probably will be fired up to avoid the home sweep and have Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado after resting them Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Brewers are without regulars Christian Yelich, Lorenzo Cain, Keston Hiura, Kolten Wong and Luis Urias. And while Adrian Houser (1-2, 3.14) is a solid pitcher, he's not Brandon Woodruff or Corbin Burnes, the two Brewers aces who have shut the Padres down in this series. It's the season debut for San Diego's Dinelson Lamet, who was fourth in the 2020 NL Cy Young voting. Getting the Friars as +110 dogs on the runline is worth it over them at -205 on the overall moneyline.
