Nationals' starter Patrick Corbin was not very good in 2020. He's looked totally lost so far in 2021. Whether it's velocity, command, control, luck, whatever metric you want, there's little reason to believe this has been a fluky-bad start even if it's been exaggerated. It's a small sample, sure, just as is the Cardinals' .302/.411/.523 line against lefties this year. I also don't love Cards starter Adam Wainwright here, at his age, especially since the Nats got to him less than a week ago. There's a good amount of power here to be seen both off the starters and relievers and it looks like it'll be a nice night to hit, in terms of the weather.
