The Pirates rank dead last in OPS (.670) versus lefties. Look for Patrick Corbin to dominate as Washington bounces back from a tough loss Tuesday.

Patrick Corbin is 9-5 with a 3.34 ERA this season and he has thrown nine quality starts in his last 11 appearances. In his only start against the Pirates, he gave up one run in seven innings. Joe Musgrove is 8-11 with a 4.59 ERA this season and 4-5 with a 5.10 ERA at home. Although he is coming off a good outing, he has been very inconsistent going 0-2 with a 7.31 ERA in August. The Pirates are dead last in the league in OPS against lefties, take the value in the Nats.

The Pirates were the highest home underdog to cash on Tuesday. A big bottom of the eighth inning which produced four runs spoiled a dominant outing from Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg. After averaging over 12 runs their five games prior the Nationals produced just one run Tuesday. Expect the Nationals to bounce back Wednesday as the Pirates have not won consecutive games since July 12.
