Vince Velasquez’s return as a starter has not fared well. Through three starts he has had two end before the fifth inning. In both he gave up four runs with four hits or more. That’s a red flag with how poor the Phillies bullpen has been, including last night’s five runs allowed. But trust the Mets' Jacob deGrom to have a dazzling performance and the Mets not batting in the ninth to keep this under.
