The Mariners have gone 22-8-3 in their last 33 home games and are the best Over team in baseball by a large margin, and the best Over starter in baseball is going tonight. Only one of Yusei Kikuchi's 18 starts have stayed Under the total and he's posted a 6.75 ERA in his last three starts. The consistent Overs by Seattle are also aided by an awful bullpen posting a 5.04 ERA. Over is the play.

After being a .500 team the majority of the season, the Oakland A's have finally gained some separation. They’ve gone 12-4 over the last two weeks and will hope to keep their success going tonight in Seattle. This will already be the fifth series matchup on the year between the Mariners and A's. Look for Oakland to continue to have success against Mariners pitcher Yusei Kikuchi. Kikuchi gave up three home runs in a May 13 start and lasted just three innings in a poor performance on May 25 against the A's. Grab Oakland.

Brett Anderson is 8-5 with a 3.92 ERA this season including 4-2 with a 3.46 ERA on the road. Yusei Kikuchi is 4-5 with a 5.12 ERA this season including 2-3 with a 5.49 ERA at home. In 14 innings pitched against the As this season, he has given up eight earned runs and in June he was 1-2 with a 7.03 ERA. In 12.1 IP against the Mariners, Anderson has given up five earned runs. Oakland has the fifth highest OPS in the league against lefties while the Mariners are 13th. The As are 7-3 in their last 10 while the Mariners are 4-6, lay the road favorite.

The Athletics are winning three-quarters of my simulations, making them a strong play Friday night at -140. Brett Anderson has been brilliant in three of his last four starts, and Oakland has won his last four road starts. Seattle is 1-6 in Yusei Kikuchi's last seven starts overall.
