Zack Greinke is still Zack Greinke for the most part, but as good as he is, some peripherals suggest he's gotten a little lucky this season as well. Tonight he'll be facing a Rockies offense that is currently firing on all cylinders. Still, I don't like the Rockies enough on the moneyline, but I do think there's value on this Under as I believe it to be a run too low.
Zack Greinke is 8-2 with a 2.65 ERA this season and he is coming off a no-hitter through six innings. Jon Gray is 6-5 with a 4.38 ERA and he has a 5.06 ERA in eight road starts this season. Greinke has faced Colorado at Coors Field twice this season and thrown two quality starts. In Gray’s only appearance against Arizona, he pitched 5.1 innings giving up two runs. The Rockies bats have been hot but they’re 16-19 on the road, lay the favorite.
Tuesday the Diamondbacks looked like a team out of sync even after having Monday off. A prior road stretch that featured three series and 10 games at Toronto, Philadelphia, and Washington took its toll. Wednesday look for the Diamondbacks to regroup two-fold at the plate and with Zack Greinke on the mound.
