The Dodgers' Rich Hill now has one game under his belt. The lefty made his 2019 season debut at home versus the Pirates, going six innings and allowing just five hits, no walks and striking out six. He gave up five runs, but only one was earned. Hill has an ERA of 3.06 over the last three years and it's just 2.57 at Petco Park in his last 14 innings there. Joey Lucchesi goes for the Padres and has been very good pitching at Petco, sporting an ERA of 2.35 over 23 innings. Last year Lucchesi made his big league debut and logged 26 starts. His ERA at home was 3.98, but his xFIP was 3.39. The Dodgers are great versus right-handed pitching, but just slightly above average against lefties.
