    Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Kenny's Analysis:

Rockies Tyler Anderson has been lights out in his last five starts, four of those at hitter-friendly Coors Field. Anderson has also dominated in his last three road starts, logging 22 innings, 15 hits, just two walks and three earned runs with 19 strikeouts. Over his last five starts he has gone 35.1 and allowed just 17 hits. Remember, four of the five starts were at Coors Carlos Martinez missed his last start with an oblique strain and has lost a couple of miles per hour on his fastball but is still an above-average starter. Martinez has pitched far better at home and was pitching well over his last four games excluding his last start versus the Cubs at Wrigley with the wind blowing out.
