Shelby Miller has been awful in his first two starts since returning from the DL, but if you look a little deeper you see that his stuff seems to be there, as he's missing plenty of bats. Tonight he's facing a Padres lineup that he's dominated in his career. I like the odds of him putting together a promising start.

The Padres have won only four of their last 16 visits to Chase FIeld, but I think there's value on the road dogs Thursday. Shelby Miller clearly has a lot of work to do to get back to his old self.
