Betting the under hasn't been profitable overall in 2017, but that will change as the season progresses. The wOBA model indicates this total should be set at 8 with 7.6 projected runs in my simulations. Now that the Rangers' 10-game win streak has come to an end, we get a rather attractive price on Yu Darvish. If the Rangers had won yesterday, today's price could have been as high as -150. Matt Boyd would probably be out of baseball if he wasn't a lefty. His walks are up this season and I expect his ERA to be around 5.00 by year's end. Take the far better pitcher with the team that's won 10 of 11.

Okay, so the Rangers' 10-game win streak ended last night. Their roll is over, but there's no need to expect them to start losing again and that's because Yu Darvish has been incredible in his last five starts, all Texas wins. He's only allowed eight runs combined over that span. Somehow he's only a small favorite against Matt Boyd, a guy Detroit has lost four straight behind. Darvish has won all six of his career starts against Detroit. Back Texas.
